      Hey guys.
      Flux beta is great.
Here's my request: I'd love to be able to disable flux or re-enable it with fewer clicks.
The menu from the windows taskbar could have a functional "Disable / Reenable" checkbox.
It already looks like a checkbox when it's disabled, but it's not an interactive component.

The way I see it, we could disable and reenable f.lux functionality quicker if we wanted to.

      Cheers!

Are you disabling for an hour, until sunrise, or for a program?

@herf Well. That covers my needs. I forgot about keyboard shortcuts. I thank you :)

@TwoCables just "disabling". Until I enable it again. The Alt-End shortcut covers this functionality.

It could be implemented in the menu as well anyways :)

              Thanks for the help guys

It is. Alt+End is "Disable for an hour". It says so right in the menu, and it also says so on the special f.lux notification that comes up on the upper-right part of your monitor.

@TwoCables Yea you are right. It would be cool to simply disable

I think the reason why we can't just permanently disable it is, herf (Michael Herf, the main programmer/developer) worries that some people might disable it and then forget that they disabled it and then complain that it's possible to disable it and forget. I think he's right, especially with what I've seen on this forum.

So if anything, disabling it "permanently" should be something that's harder to do than disabling for an hour or until sunrise or for an application.
