MacBook Air + Dell Monitor

Hi,

I have an external monitor set up connected to my MacBook via a USB. After researching, I found that a USB connection will not transfer Flux to the external monitor.

I was wondering if a Thunderbolt to VGA would work, or if a Thunderbolt to DVI would work?

Yes these non-USB connections usually do work.

Yes, you can used a Thunderbolt (miniDisplayPort) to VGA or Thunderbolt to DVI too. I have a Mac Mini (late 2014) and I have a Thunderbolt to VGA and f.lux works just fine.
