disappearing from menu bar

F.lux keeps disappearing off my menu bar after a day or so. I am unable to access any of the settings when this happens. I cant open or close the application any other way. The only fix is a computer restart. I am running latest version on Sonoma 14.2.1
Any ideas?

@retell1 the menubar can be shortened when the foreground app has a lot of menus - can you check if a different foreground app makes f.lux visible?
Also can you check if "Activity Monitor" shows "Flux" running?

@herf I gave that a shot and its still missing. Yep, its def. running. It shows in the activity monitor and the color shift still works. Actually, the reason I posted last night is because I was editing photos and I wanted to make sure I got the color correction right so I wanted to turn it off but couldn't until I finally restarted the computer.
