Help please

I just installed f.lux, and it was pretty cool at first how it changed the color on my screen and it seemed to be easier on my eyes. I woke up this morning and it all seems the same as it used to be. Not sure if there's some way to adjust settings? Each time I click on the application, it just says, "it's already running".
