Does F.lux support OS X Ventura?
-
I can't get it to work on my machine and I can't find any documentation online about whether it's supported or not.
Thanks!

@yeaandy we do test it on Ventura. Which machine are you using and what problems are you seeing?

Hi. I use f.lux on my macbook pro 2015 for many years - no problem. A few days ago I bought a macbook m1 pro with the latest version of OS Ventura. After installing f.lux I observe a problem with f.lux turning off after switching to fullscreen mode. The settings are the same on both computers. I have tried 3-4 apps in full screen mode but f.lux is not able to detect full screen. Is there any solution or advice? Thank you.

@peter6366 yes it did change in Ventura.
If you would like to test a fix it is available to try, here:
https://justgetflux.com/mac/Flux42.2.zipThis version does not support multiple screens, but if you have one it should work.

@herf Thank you. I'll test it and reply.

@herf It works....thank you very much.

f.lux runs fine on Ventura, but does not have support for the new fullscreen mode. Unless apps offer to use the legacy fullscreen mode (like IINA), f.lux will stop working after you've had the Mac in fullscreen mode.

@herf Any idea if they plan to support multiple screens?
