Flux Preferences menu doesn't open when I click on it from top menu bar in MacOS

I can open the dropdown menu when clicking on the Flux icon in the top menu of my MacBook Pro. But when I click on Preferences in that menu, it never opens up. It's quite annoying. Anyone else having this problem? How can I fix it? Thanks!

Do you have multiple screens? For me the preference window only opens on the internal display and not on the one I have set as my primary display.

Which version of macOS is this?

Had this same problem. Solved by moving the application to my Applications folder and running it from there. I was running it from my Downloads folder.
