f.lux v41: Big Sur and Apple Silicon support
-
Hello! I've downloaded v41.5 for my new Mac, and it displays a greenish tint instead of the familiar sepia orange. I've tried redownloading and installing it to no avail.
About my machine:
model: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021)
chip: Apple M1 Max
OS: Monterey 12.0.1 (21A559) -
there is a temporary workaround here:

I'm having a similar issue, but I'm on an M1 MacBook Air, using Monterey 12.1 Beta 3.
I'm having an issue uploading images, but here's a link: https://www.icloud.com/iclouddrive/0Rqasm2mG_di0AFm4Jacwq6_w#IMG_0814
The colors almost look inverted, but white turns to blue, and blue turns to a kind of magenta.
I'm on F.Lux version 41.5.

I appreciate all of your efforts.
The issue only occurs when the machine runs the integrated graphics; whenever it switches to the 5500M, the cursor displays correctly. Two other devices without switchable graphics (iMac Pro, 2016 13" MBP) do not have the issue; they did not have it under f.lux 40.1 or Catalina either. I am still experiencing the white cursor on my 2019 16" MacBook Pro (5500M), running Big Sur 11.1 and f.lux 41.1.
