f.lux icon not visible in all apps

When I am using Photoshop or Lightroom, I need f.lux to be disabled. It was, but now it does not show up in the menu bar, so can't access the disable menu. It also is not visible in Chrome. It would be much better if f.lux was always visible in the menu bar so that I can make changes in the controls as needed.
