Several weeks ago, I noticed that f.lux won't stay on on my MacBook Pro (macOS Sierra 10.12.6). I had been using it previously with no issue for a few years. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it twice. If I click on the f.lux icon at the top of my screen, I can get it to dim my screen. And then as soon as I click elsewhere, it brightens back up. I don't know how to make it work again. I suffer from chronic migraines and this app allowed me to do my accounting work at night. It is a life changer and I am desperate for it to start working again. Thank you!

@jaspitz this is happening to me as well. I am wondering if it is because of the Mac update?

Same to me but kinda opposite: I put in preferences daytime -> specific 3100K and after some time about 5 secs it just adjusts warmness automatically to some independent by my value.
How to fix this issue? I want to be able to adjust warmness manually.
