elimination blue light with f.lux

I have been reading lately that blue light from computer monitors, cellphones can damage the retina's macula.

I have installed f.lux on my MAC. Can it be used to reduce / eliminate harmful blue light emitted from the monitor?

I would like to have the blue light eliminated from the monitor at all times of use, not just during certain times of day.
