Ok, thanks! Just one more thing, should I uninstall the Win32 version then install the UWP version?

I'm just asking because I installed f.lux yesterday without restarting, and I'm wondering if it's safe to uninstall f.lux without restarting, and that the UWP version will work after the desktop version was installed and uninstalled.

@HTV04 Yes go ahead and uninstall - UWP should win on startup but having just one seems like a better idea. Let us know if you have any trouble!

@lorna Ok, thanks! And just a heads up, Microsoft might ban the app from the Windows Store in fear that it might be messing with computers' settings. If this happens, you should upload the .appx for people to sideload. This app is really cool, and is way better than the default Night Light.

@HTV04 Thanks - there is an approval process for the store (we've been through it), so we don't expect to be banned. ^_^

@lorna Hopefully it won't get banned. F.lux is amazing!

@nobelharvards Thanks for checking in. It says who up/downvoted things if you hover over the number. Maybe it only says that for admins. If it wasn't you, how weird - perhaps our forum software has gone a bit mad.

Hey you're right, it does show it if you hover over the number. I didn't know that.

@lorna How will updating work on the f.lux UWP? There's an option to install updates automatically in the app, but doesn't the Windows Store update it? Or will f.lux have its own updater and the Store won't update it?

@HTV04 Windows Store will update it. We're still new at this whole Being Allowed in an App Store business, so I'm not sure how fast it happens, but it definitely happens.

@lorna But what does the "install updates automatically" option do? If the Windows Store updates it, then is this option a leftover from the executable? Would it still work if an update was released to the executable version?

@HTV04 So basically, not much - the option there now will turn the readme on and off. We'll change that next build (then we can all see how the update process happens...)
