F.lux are the true innovators

It's disappointing that F.lux didn't reap the rewards of their development work that led to iOS NightShift. I wrote a short blog post about it in March 2016 and didn't think to share it here until now. Well, better late than never. Just want to say thanks to F.lux for their innovation and persistance. Keep it up!

@OpticalDesigner Thanks Donna, we really appreciate your kind words. Have to say that there is still a lot left for us to do. It's a shame that we still aren't able to ship f.lux on Apple's mobile platform.

@lorna Yes, I contacted Apple about that last year. Do you think it could help if users contacted them at this point?

@OpticalDesigner many tens of
thousands of f.lux users have written in already - instead of allowing it, they released Night Shift, which is really not effective enough - it's not as strong an intervention and it only works on new machines with bigger and brighter screens. Oops.We would love it if people keep writing in and saying they'd like to see Apple allow real f.lux for iOS. Thank you!
