About Me & F.lux Review
Hello, I am a gamer and a writer. I love to write my own mini-books and play games, a lot. This was great, but had a huge effect on my eyes and brain. It wasn't until 2 years ago my eyes started to sting and ache more commonly, whenever I did marathons. I thought it wasn't so bad so I kept on going. About 5 months after that, 1.5 years ago, my head started to take a hit too. I started to get headaches more often. Nowadays I get headaches similar to those who call "migraines". They almost force me to rest and stop whatever I'm doing. This prevents me from doing what I do. I suffered from this for about a year, before discovering F.lux, a few days ago. F.lux seemed like a dumb old free application again that does nothing and doesn't help at all. At first I even thought it was a malware-infested website. But when I downloaded it, it changed everything. Whenever I get headaches now, I can use my computer without a single ache or pain. And if I get one, the computer doesn't make it worse. If I could rate this, it would be 5/5, because it works better than anything else. It actually works better and tones down color temperature, without making your screen look horrible and disgusting to look at. Now I run my screen on Halogen, and it's the best thing I've ever done. Tell your friends about F.lux!FOR THE DEV TEAM
I love F.lux and the way you guys made it. It works perfectly, and makes the screen so much better without having to tone down the brightness or make my screen look like a red hole of death. :D I really appreciate that you guys had the idea of helping all of these people out by making their daily computer time much easier on them and their eyes. I actually enjoy the slight red tint to my screen. :) I understand this is such a tiny application and download for your computer, but it acts like a big difference. Yay! No more pure-blue and dark screens! Full brightness, no headache. But seriously, you guys are the best, and made a small but huge difference in my day-to-day life. Keep up the good work. Before I let you guys go, I wanted to say that I want this post to be a little thread for everyone to post their update ideas and thoughts about F.lux. Thanks! -IanFOR THE COMMUNITY
Hey everyone! I wanted to create a small thread so you guys could share some update ideas and suggestions and things like that. Personally, I wish you could directly change your awake time, bedtime, and specifically what hours you want to be Halogen, Sunlight, etc. Also, if you feel like it, go ahead and post your personal suggestions down below and I will try it.Thank you both the dev team and community of F.lux. Everyone here is a life saver.

I have just about the same amount of love for f.lux and for Mike and Lorna (the developers), but for different reasons. I don't have any problems with my eyes or anything like that (not yet, at least), but I still feel that I absolutely do not want to live without f.lux!

I would love to see an option for set to sunset settings for an hour rather than just disable. Sometimes I need something slightly less dim that really late settings, but I don't want to go all the way back to normal. I can do it manually, but it would be nice to have an easy drop down selection.
