Different wakeup time for different days of the week.

Can we set a different wakeup time for each different days of the week? This would be a very useful feature for students.
-
Do you stay up later when there are later classes the next day, or just sleep in more?
-
Depends. I try to get 6 hours of sleep, but the wake up time definitely follow my class schedule. I can't have a single wake up time when sometime I have classes between 8h am to 5 pm and other days it's 1h pm to 9h30 pm.

I'm also interested in this feature. Here is my use case:
I am studying part time and working part time in different cities. For my studies I have to wake up at 7:30 every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. For my work I have a longer commute and must wake up at 6am.- If I set up my wake up time to 7:30 (for studies), my display is too bright in the evening during the end of the week when I'm supposed to go to bed earlier because of work.
- If I set up my wake up time to 6:00 (for work), my display is too warm to work late at night during the beginning of the week for my studies.
I would love something where the single wake up time value could be expanded to a value per day.

Here is another example. I work at a hospital 3 days per week, on those days I need to wake up at 5:45 am. The other 5 days of the week I do not need to wake up until 8:00 am. I want f.lux to activate backward alarm clock and warming features earlier the nights before I need to wake up. I can't use this feature without manually changing the wake-up time each day since these 3 days are not during the weekends.
I would like something that says:
Wake up at 5:45 am on: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Wake Up at 8:00 am on: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
etc -
@s4mm1 How does your bedtime change on this schedule?
Do you get more sleep on the 8AM days?
We are trying to figure out how to do this "right", because if we do it badly, it just makes it extra hard to get up on Mondays.
But I agree the backwards alarm clock doesn't make much sense as it is.

@herf Honestly no, I get the same amount of sleep on the days I wake up at 8:00 vs 5:45. I simply go to bed earlier. I aim for 7 hours and 30 min of sleep each night. (Sometimes that happens, sometimes it doesn't.) This is where I have the issue. My screen either warms too early (which is annoying) or too late (which affects my sleep). I actually don't mind the backwards alarm clock.I like it because I do not have a set schedule and it reminds me how late it actually is. It's saved my butt before!

I think this is a fantastic idea. I would use this for many reasons.
