F.lux candle flicker mode

I understand you're busy, but if you find the time, can you smooth the candle mode in f.lux? The one that changes different colors and goes black at the end. It's just something fun I know but it's very sharp changes in light.
Also, could you please add "General" or "feature requests" to the f.lux support section? That' would help filter the posts easier.
