Open but not open

Flux won't open - that is I it shows up nowhere when I click it, but when i try and remove it, my computer says it cannot because it is open. I have no access to any of the setting or anything. It is hidden in my computer somewhere totally inaccessible.

@Merrill in the upper right corner of your mac (just to the left of your system clock) you can access all the preferences.
