      without any recognizable reason f.lux disables my profile and switches to the original mac profile - only to come back to f.lux after some 10 or 20 secs. annoying. i use 37.7. on an iMac mid 2011. christian

        Can you try updating to the newest build? If that doesn't work, does disabling automatic brightness help you?

          @lorna I'm experiencing something similar with v37.7. But there is a pattern: when Safari gains focus, the color profile reverts back to original and when Safari loses focus, the f.lux color profile fades in. Quite annoying and for now I've just switched to firefox or chrome and the problem goes away. OS X 10.11.6

              @lorna i didn't know i could. it took some poking around as it wasn't in preferences but yes, it was disabled. thanks
