What is the best f.lux lighting value in completely dark room at night?

Hi, I use computer at night and I was wondering what is the best lighting value when working in a completely dark room? Is 3400 ok or there is a better option?

It depends on your goals. In a totally dark room late at night I prefer darkroom mode which is all black and red. Which operating system are you using?

I use Windows 7, and I often play games, so black and red are not for me I think :-)

I really recommend never using a computer in total darkness. It's hard on human eyes and I would bet that it can have harmful long-term effects.
Why can't you have some lights on?

@trybik Dimming helps a lot - so if you want to use a cooler temperature during the night we recommend that you dim as much as is comfortable.
