website in Safari disables f.lux until closed

Not sure if this is expected or not but visiting http://codepen.io/Yakudoo/full/oXJYxy/ in Safari turns off flux until I close the tab. Even switching to another tab doesn't help, I have to actually close the page to make it work. Is it expected that some web content will disable flux?

Are you on a machine with dual GPUs maybe? There's no content that can do it, officially, but there are ways the GPU can get confused.
