Feature request: add new options to the preferences dropdown

I wanted to try a variation of the "Recommended Colors", and have it be an option I could come back to later. But the "Custom colors" seems to be only temporary as it changes based on whatever setting you are coming from.
I didn't want to have manually reset my color variation after temporarily switching away from it. It would be very cool if my variation could be a fifth option.
