Cant Close Flux to update to version with menu. running el capitan.

alright. so i installed flux on el capitan and i cant get it to close so i can install the update with the menu. its just stuck on. HELP.

When you open the menu to the left of your system clock and choose quit f.lux is there a particular error? Can you find "flux" process in Activity Monitor and force quit?
