I have the coordinates for my address and they are correct.

Yet, the sunset is off. It is hours behind, depending on the time.

Right now it reads that sunset was 2 hours ago and sunset is not for another hour or so.

I don't get it. The coordinates are correct.

I just posted this and it says that I posted 3 hours ago. I am EST.

Hi Sunny, let's see. Do your coordinates match up with the map at justgetflux.com/map.html ?
What is your computer's timezone setting?

Yes, I copied/pasted the lat and long, which was the same as before

I checked my clock and it was off by 2 hours.

I corrected the time zone to eastern. I am in Maine. USA.

I logged out, closed Firefox and restarted.

Nothing has changed, Sunset is still 2 hours ago.

          It's on recommended colors.
          The sun is set

I will need to do this later on a different computer.

My clock is now off after making the change and I cannot change it back cuz I cannot unlock it without the admin password which I do not have now.

            Thanks for now.

                Well, all is well.

I could now unlock and correct the time and the sunset time and my computer clock are in sync.

Thank you for offering to help. I appreciate it.

The time of sunset is defined in astronomy as the moment when the upper limb of the Sun disappears below the horizon. Near the horizon, atmospheric refraction causes sunlight rays to be distorted to such an extent that geometrically the solar disk is already about one diameter below the horizon when a sunset is observed.
