Waking up early; how to disable until evening?
-
My sleep schedule is a little bit fluid,so sometimes I get up before my set wake up time in F.lux. F.lux is in bedtime mode, so my screen is really orange. Is there a good way to disable F.lux until the evening? Basically I want a way to switch F.lux to Daytime mode early, until sunset.
My wake-up time is after sunrise, so "Disable until sunrise" keeps it disabled through the current evening and night into the morning.
Disabling for an hour works, but if I'm up more than an hour early then the screen will suddenly change after an hour and I have to disable it again.

Not right now. For now, just move the color sliders.

@GlowingApple Are you using a Mac? It would be better to ask about this in the OS X forum, maybe here:
Feature request: I'm up! (f.lux forum) -
@Elhem-Enohpi Yes, I am using a Mac (guess my username gave that away!), and that thread describes my issue exactly. Thanks for the link; I'll follow that thread!

@GlowingApple I just had an idea about it, I posted it in that thread.

I don't see the issue here. What is wrong with using "Disable until sunrise"? Does it turn on again until your wake time?

@Tungsten_smooth If I wake up after sunrise, the next sunrise isn't until the next morning. So clicking disable until sunrise means it won't turn on again that evening. Basically I want to disable it until sunset instead.
EDIT: Let me clarify with actual times. If I set my wake up time to 10am, but get up at 8am on Monday, F.lux is still in bedtime mode for 2 more hours. But it's still after sunrise on Monday, so if I "disable until sunrise" F.lux won't resume until ~6am Tuesday, when really I want it to resume Monday evening.

@GlowingApple oh well that makes sense.
