Just restarted my computer on the Fast Ring, and the blue artifacts are no longer showing up in v4.115 (thanks to https://forum.justgetflux.com/post/23190). Thanks @herf !

            You're right.
I'm on 4.116 and I tried some things in f.lux
When activating Grayscale mode from effects, the blue artifacts appeared again for me - but now on the first monitor, not on the second one.

In combination with grayscale mode, it looks very very strange - because everything is gray - and then: blue spots ;)
But after removing grayscale mode, the also persist on the first screen..

Edit: Switching back from 116 to 115 directly fixed it again.
            @dimanish can you try the 4.115? https://justgetflux.com/flux-setup4-115.exe

I wasn't experiencing this issue until yesterday when Flux automatically updated. Now I see the same artefacts, which are particularly obvious in videos or WebGL.

Downgrading to 4.115 fixes the issue for me.

We are pushing 4.117 with a rollback that we hope fixes this.

So I'm not aware of any update to the app, though I have turned on beta testing, however tonight I'm getting no artefacts. No idea why.

Only settings I've changed recently was:

                            • Turning off game background recording in nvidia experience
                            • Changing power management mode from 'optimal power' to 'prefer maximum power'
                            • Texture filtering to 'high performance'

This were done to assist with FS2020 so may be totally unrelated, but I have no artefact issues tonight.

I'm getting pink artefacts on brand new Lenovo Yoga laptop screen. Artefacts didn't show up until I installed f.lux. I've used f.lux for almost 10 years on other devices and never had this problem. Is there something about newer graphic cards and how they interact with f.lux that causes this problem? My other devices are at least 1-2 years old.

I'm really pissed, it was working flawlessly until I get back home tonight on (October 17th 2020) and now I started having that BLUE artifact in dark zones. I didn't touch or change anything at all.

                                    PS: I have a X-Rite i1Display color profile.

However my monitor started glitching soon after. It's been powered 15H since I've bought it and started using it, was perfect earlier but I guess I got a POS lemon off Amazon so they gave me a 35% discount to keep it and have to deal with LG's warranty. I have 1 vertical blue line across the whole panel on my left, and 2 subtle gray lines horizontally near top, so is that related to the Flux issue no idea but it's a damn STRANGE coincidence to happen nearly at the same time on the same evening. I get the blue line even with no cables connected before you think I'm an idiot. I'm a computer tech support since over 15 years, it's the monitor's fault.

Same thing on a Lenovo Thinkbook laptop, with the latest Intel Graphics drivers. The pixels don't appear on a screenshot of a problematic image.

Can anyone say if this is persisting on the 2020 Windows release?

We will see what we can find out.

I've been having a similar, awful problem. Has there been any progress on this?

I LOVE f.lux! I've been using it for years, and I can't figure out what started this or how to fix it. The only solution seems to be to stop using flux entirely.

It only happens on one monitor (primary). I'm using the latest version of Windows 10, with Intel HD graphics. My guess is that for whatever reason, certain dark greys are overflowing to bright, fluorescent blue.

                                            Example picture

                                            Here's my driver info:
