v40 fails to launch on Lion

v40.1 tests fine on Mountain Lion as well as Mavericks.

Thank you - we have blocked the update and will make v39.97 the download for 10.7.
Would you check that the "download" link from https://justgetflux.com/ works on Lion?
We are trying to keep old things compatible, but I think Apple's tools are sometimes forcing updates.

FluxLion.zip sent on down opens as v39.97 on Lion os x.
