Jumping mouse

Thanks, the fast transition is the right answer for now. There were definitely some bugs in earlier OSes (pre 10.10) but it should be getting better not worse.
Can you kindly post back with your mouse model number, OS version, and whether it's happening all the time or just during transitions? Thanks for your help!

The mouse I'm using is a Roccat Kone XTD on 10.8.5.
Unfortunately fast transitions are not the answer as it's just too jarring and abrupt to work as it should (i.e. transparently).
It does seem to be during transitions but I can't really be sure, it was such an intolerable situation that I uninstalled f.lux and set my monitors to a warm setting permanently.

My mouse is a high dpi gaming mouse and presents the problem, usually I have it at max speed, but at minimum speed doesn't help and is a lot slower than Trackpad. MO-LTM009DT
And testing with a Magic Trackpad not present the problem.

I'm seeing the same issue - definitely when transitioning. When I get in early, I usually have to use movie mode for the first hour or so to make my screen less orange, and my mouse jumps dramatically while it's transitioning.

Upgrading to 36.3 did not fix the issue.

Started having the same issue a while ago. Here is what I found:
- I have mouse jumps/lags only when I have second monitor connected via Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter;
- I have heavy mouse jumps while flux gradually changing monitor color temperature, i.e. right after flux launch/system reboot. When color stops changing jumps/lags are vanish significantly, but not completely and can last for a while;
- Mouse jumps can appear randomly during work period, they are quite insignificant compared to those "launch/startup" jumps. Maybe their appearance related to color temperature changes but I am not sure;
Here is my setup. Laptop: MBP Mid 2012, mouse: A4 X-710BK, external monitor: SMBX2331, OS: OS X 10.9.5, Flux version: 36.3

Having the same problem here.... It messes with my Zowie FK1 mouse. Does not seem to affect other mice.

I've had this issue for >1 year now on OSX Yosemite, just never found the time to research it and just put up with it.
It is most especially annoying when using a laser gaming mouse at a high DPI, but is still moderately annoying using an Apple Magic Mouse (but less noticeable).
It's important for me to note that I am using an OSX86 machine, however one similarity I have to @elxris is that I am using a NVIDIA graphics card:

Intel Core i5, 3570K
MacMini6,2 SMBIOS (However issue occurs no matter what platform is chosen)

Just got a new monitor and began noticing this too. Jumpy usb or bluetooth mouse seems related to flux transitioning, and can be stopped as soon as flux is disabled. My monitor is connected over Displayport using a passive mini DP to DP adapter. I see a spike in Kernal_task every time i move my usb mouse, but this occurs with or without flux enabled. Moving via the trackpad is unaffected.

Confirming that I am also having this same issue of the mouse jumping when flux transitions and can confirm that it goes away once flux is closed. I do also get an odd bug when closing flux that one monitor remains with the color profile active before flux closed, while the other monitors go back to normal color profile. I love flux, but can't use it anymore as this issue makes productivity difficult.
For me personally, I didn't notice this issue until recently when I upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite.
I am using:
Yosemite 10.10.5
Mid 2014 MacBook Pro
Flux 36.5
2 External Monitors (in one configuration I have two older Dell VGA monitors and in another two newer Apple Thunderbolt displays)
USB Mouse (have used multiple models (e.g., Logitech MX518) and all seem to respond the same way) -
Any suggestions on this? Any other tests that might be needed to debug this further? I really love flux, but, as I said can't use it and be productive right now with this issue.

Mouse is a Logitech G600, OSX 10.9.5, Flux 36.6
Fast transitions is checked and it happens for the entire duration of the transition, mouse is basically unusable for 5-10 seconds.
Is there a secret way to set the transition speed? I would be fine with it being instantaneous like it used to be. Having a working mouse is more important than a fancy transition for me and a lot of people. Function over form and all.

Same Problem here.
Hardware: Mac Pro 5,1 12-core, 48GB RAM, GeForce980ti, three Asus BP279 UHD Monitors. Logitech G502 Mouse, Apple MagicTrackpad using a BT dongle on a PCI-E USB3 card.
the problem isn't just the mouse but everything is skipping a frame or two every now and them (like animations).
The monitors are set to HiDpi (retina)
Software: OS X 10.11.3, NVIDIA Web Driver 456.03.05f01, f.lux 36.6

This has been driving me crazy for months!
It was only once I finally realised it was happening at about the same time of day that I eventually realised it was flux :/ (took me way too long because I am so used to flux!)
It seems to be an issue with high DPI mice specifically (whether due to the high DPI or the crappy software they always come with idk).
I tried a Razer Deathadder 2013 and a SteelSeries Rival 100 and they both have the same issue, however if I use a fairly standard Dell USB mouse I have no issue, even while a high DPI mouse is still plugged in and still jumping when I try and use it.Mac Pro

f.lux 37.7I know this may only be an issue with particular setups (i.e. high DPI mouse & older OS X) and you probably won't get to fixing it but I figured I'd offer my findings anyway.

I just now found this after installing flux a couple of months ago. This has been driving me absolutely crazy.
If it helps here are my specs:
OSX Yosemite 10.10.1 and Flux 39.983
iMac - 27 inch (mid 2011) - 3.4GHz Intel Core i7
8GB 1333Mhz DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048MB GPUAlso running a Dell U2713HM 27 inch Display as a secondary monitor.
