Android permissions

Hi, I like using Flux on my computer but when I looked for an option to super-orange out my android at night beyond what Asus provides for nighttime eye protection, I found an app called Twilight that demanded control of your entire screen and it felt a bit like that app was spyware. If F.lux was to have an Android port, what permissions would it use? Am I right to view the requirements of Twilight with suspicion?

Probably this is legitimate - we have shipped a "root-only" version in the past that doesn't ask for permissions, but root is a different level of privilege.
