      So the other day I got a new monitor (Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM) to replace an LG 27GN800-B. This is paired with another LG 27GN800-B. Previously, f.lux was working great with both LGs. Now though, it's working fine on the Asus, but simply will not work on the LG. I do have HDR turned on for the Asus, but not the LG.

      When I check the driver info in f.lux (beta version 4.134) this is what I get:

      NVIDIA 31.0.15.5161: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER (20240215)

      Generic PnP Monitor, 597 x 336mm, built 2020
      Chromaticities:
      R=0.685547 0.308594
      G=0.264648 0.667969
      B=0.150391 0.057617
      W=0.313477 0.329102
      sRGB gamut: 101%, AdobeRGB gamut: 83%

      Unlimited gamma ramp=1, Internal ramp=0
      Monitor 1 on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER
      Has VCGT profile=0, Gamma Ramp works=1
      Monitor 2 on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER
      Has VCGT profile=0, Gamma Ramp works=1

      Windows Build: 22631.3155

      That would appear to be the info for the LG as it has always showed up as Generic, but as LG Ultragear in Windows settings. In Nvidia control panel, the Asus shows up as Asustek and as PG27AQDM in Windows settings.

      Any ideas of my next steps to getting f.lux working on the LG?

        Does it work okay if HDR mode is turned off for the LG? I'm trying to understand if it's related to the NVIDIA driver or to HDR.

        We have a GPU-rendering mode that can be turned on if you want to enable it while in HDR mode, but it will affect screenshots.

          @herf Sorry for the delay.. HDR on or off on both/either monitor doesn't make a difference. f.lux only wants to change the Asus; the LG's color temp doesn't change.

            @herf I did just find something that might be of use. I tried enabling NightLight and it's only affecting the Asus as well. So maybe this is an issue at the OS level?

              @bitzie I would first expect the NVIDIA driver, since these drivers over the last few years have had modes that turn off color controls ("reference mode" and other things), though recently one of them was very hard to turn off once you turn it on.

              I can only recommend looking some more into color settings in the NVIDIA control panel ("Current color accuracy mode" under "Adjust desktop color settings"?)
