f.lux claims the sun has set, when it hasn't
-
good day!
i am in st. john's, newfoundland, canada. as of writing, it is 5:04 pm and the sun has not set over here. however, f.lux claims that it has, and i can't find a way to tell it that it's wrong. what (if anything) can i do about this? (it's not a timezone issue, i checked)edit: in case it's relevant, i am running windows 10 pro version 22H2, and f.lux version 4.131
edit 2: it is currently 3:43 pm (february 21st in case it's relevant), and f.lux is again claiming the sun has set. this is just plain ridiculous, it is very high in the sky and is in fact slightly interfering with my monitor as i write this (not that the latter issue is related to f.lux)
edit 3: for what it's worth, today (22/02/2024) i managed to work out the exact time that f.lux believed the sun had set, which was 1:56 pm. not sure how useful that is, but i figure it's worth mentioning -
@idiot-from-nfld First thing to check is this: https://justgetflux.com/timesync.html
Then, try to update your location, you might have to type a different place name. We have relied on Google maps less in the past few years, but this sometimes makes us get locations somewhat wrong.
