Brightness changes each day at 0:00 sharp

Basically title, whenever a new day starts it instantly drops the brightness lower, even the circle drops below the line in that visual thingie, but even after restarting the program the new "incorrect" brightness level is set, but the circle recovers from below the line. At this point I'm not even sure which one is the correct level because both before and after 0:00 it says 4200k, even after restart.
Also note that my settings are aligned with solar time and my location is properly set, the transitions happen way before 0:00, it's definitely a bug and not my settings being wrong.
