Issue with text pixelation/aliasing

I've seen a lot of mac users with this issue, but I'm on PC, and it adds a weird black fill to my text in darkroom mode. It becomes absolutely illegible at smaller sizes and just looks like pixels and lines, but only in certain programs or with certain fonts. I just got a new computer, and this wasn't happening on my old laptop. The colors are right, but the text is all pixels on certain fonts or programs.
