I have f.lux transitions set to "Slow: Natural Timing", and my wake time is 5AM. I've noticed that, with sunset occurring around 8PM, the transition is squashed down and occurs jarringly fast. I assume this is because it's speeding up to meet my "bedtime" relative to my wake time. When I set the wake time an hour later, to 6AM, the gradual transition returns. I never want the transition speed to be faster than "Natural Timing" - I want it to always be gradual, even if that means the transition is completed past my "bedtime". Is there any way to completely unbind transition speed from "bedtime"/"wake time"? If not, is an option to do so (or to set a custom "bedtime") in the works for future updates? Thanks.

@sleepwakecycle (Random internet person here who has used F.lux a lot)

Don't think their UI lets us do that. I have the same issue in my location. Using 8am allows an hour or two of less color shift before really mangling the colors. But 6am is a straight shot.

I agree you're not alone in wanting that much control. I'll bet night shift workers would benefit from being able to force changes outside of the normal day/night cycle (that they likely block outside light from windows anyway). Wish this was Open Source so users could add that.
