      Hello,

I have been using F.Lux for a long time on PCs without any particular settings. I have just installed it on an MSI laptop without any settings.

The problem I have is that when I take a screenshot with Screepresso the screen turns dark orange. In fact, my captures are also dark orange.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled F.Lux, nothing happens.

Would you have a solution ?

I thank you in advance for your solutions.

        Greetings,

I noticed your post as I was searching the forums while having a different color shift issue.

I used to experience the exact problem you are describing, but with a different screen capture app (SnagIt). It only happened when I was using a DisplayLink USB for external monitor support.

Might this apply in your situation?

The only workaround I found was to use Windows (10 or up) native screen capture tool, Shift + Win + S, which captures the image at the proper color no matter how intense the f.lux settings are.

The only actual fix I found was when I upgraded to a newer laptop with a USB C/Thunderbolt docking station, which allows me to run the external monitors from the laptop graphics card, rather than requiring a DisplayLink device. No orange color with SnagIt screenshots anymore.

@Eithel-Belag this is usually due to USB-connected adapters which have no color controls. One possible way to work around it is here: https://forum.justgetflux.com/topic/3629/displaylink

@trulycool, Thanks for your answer. It's a solution, but Screenpresso is so handy...especially since it allows you to capture the video as well.

@trulycool, yes, that's right. I use DisplayLink to connect multiple displays on my laptop.

@herf, Hello Herf and especially thank you for your link. I dug up the topic, because I did the procedure and unfortunately the DisplayLink folder doesn't seem to exist in my registry.
See the screenshots in on the link page:
