Since installing GoToMyPc, flux isn't working

I have been enjoying flux for a while, and right after I installed GoToMyPc, my computer monitor has been blasting me with full blue light. (I have still not even used the gotomypc software, but it IS running in the background.) I restarted my computer since all of my flux tinkering wasn't solving the problem. That also didn't work, so I uninstalled flux and reinstalled it. Still nothing is happening when I slide the color bar in flux.
Has anyone experienced this when installing programs?
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?Thank you very much
