Tinted screen on screenshots or when screen sharing

  • Hi, recently i bought a new monitor and since then I'm having the same problems which happened to users after the 1903 May update. Screenshots and Screen sharing and recorded videos always tinted Orange/Red about 3 times harder than my flux settings (when I turn off flux it dissappears of course)

Now, I did try to mess around with a lot of settings, fast startup is disabled, I don't use DisplayLink monitor or Lenovo eyecare etc. I opted-in to flux beta too but i didnt find any settings that would help.

My settings are the above, my monitor is a Viewsonic VX2458-MHD.
I'm guessing its a problem with color profiles set wrong since windows doesnt recognize my monitor, I also tried to download 2 programs which let me set them manually for my monitor but even then the problem remains.

Frankly Im pretty lost at this point I hope im overlooking some super simple fix here.

  • This says you have two monitors plugged in, but perhaps only one active? I think this second monitor is failing to work. It's unusual for a GTX 1660Ti to say "gamma=0" because it should just work. But it does seem like most of the Windows color stuff is just not working here.

  • I got the same problem with my laptop, I have 1 screen connected with hdmi and when I try to take a screenshot with greenshot its all orange.
