Why does f.lux starts dimming 14 hours before I will wake up in the morning?

Thanks a lot for f.lux!, it really helps to sleep better.
Unfortunately, f.lux starts about 6 hours before I will have to go to bed with dimming the backlight, therefore, f.lux is very annoying, too.
Why don't you allow us to configure the usual, fixed time when a User plans to go to sleep?
Then f.lux could start changing the color profile 90 minutes before - and f.lux would get great and very useful.
Thanks a lot, kind regards,

Did you set your wake time?
