In Windows 10, Flux never sets the light right after starting/logging in (even though there should be time enough to do so) or even waking from hibernation or saving electricity. You always get exposed to bright blue light, and only a minute or two later flux slowly kicks in dimming.
Needless to say, this is extremely unfortunate and unhelpful. Why is this? What can be done, so flux works right away?
On startup, this is a change to Windows itself - they delay starting all background applications in order to make the system feel more responsive.
We should be quite quick on standby though? Are you seeing something different?
