Weird popping sound coming from my hardware while transitioning to less blueish filters
-
Hi guys,
i'm using windows 10 pro and was always really happy with f.lux, can't go without it tbh. Yesterday i installed it on my new setup. I'm using a ryzen 5 2600x, the asrock x470 master sli mainboard, 16gb ddr4 ram and a ventus rtx 2060.
When i'm using f.lux i sometimes get a weird and really concerning popping noise and it sounds like it's either coming from my hardware or from my speakers, i'm not really sure and too scared to try it again. Is this a common problem? If so i'd love to know how to fix it.
Thanks in advance and have a nice evening.

Can you post f.lux options > driver info?
I'm guessing this is something with audio - have not heard about audio glitching like this, but it's possible that a new NVIDIA driver could do this. Can you also turn your volume down to see if this is indeed audio?

So far nothing happened with volume down but it happens so infrequently that i have to test it a bit more i think.

Because I haven't heard from anyone else about this yet (we have lots of NVIDIA users!), I would also make sure the audio drivers are current - perhaps it could be on that side too. Can you see if there's a newer sound driver available?
