Why can't flux just leave me setting where it is and stop fecking with it?
I just want to set me color to 1200 and leave it there permanent like. I don't need the software to think for me, thank you very much.
Is there some way to do this? I see nothing in the menus. Thanks

Easily. Go into the menu and choose "Adjust day and night colors together...".

@twocables It doesn't hold it when I do that. I tested by moving my location to greenland.

Set all 3 color temperatures to 1200K. If that's what you're doing but it's not working, then disable Microsoft Night Shift.

@twocables Damn, sometimes I have 2 sliders, sometimes 3, depending on what I set in that upper right dropdown menu. Could you guys make this a little more complicated, please? I have nothing better to do than get headaches over this instead of doing my work.

The only time you get 2 sliders is when you choose 'Classic F.lux'. It's the old style from F.lux v3. In v4, they added Bedtime, which is the 3rd slider. That's why when you choose 'Classic F.lux', you see a new menu item named "Classic F.lux" with check next to it to indicate that it's enabled. That's also why it goes away when you choose anything else.
So, it's not complicated at all.
