Windows Tray Icon Went Missing

The Tray icon on a perfectly-maintained Windows 7 box has gone missing in the past few days. This after many months of faithful f.lux service. F.lux is still findable in the Programs group. Ideas, please?

... and PS, I already know how to Customize the Tray icons. I'm hoping for a way to prevent the icon from disappearing on its own. Danke schoen.
