Twitter and F.lux: the urgent need to disable it quickly

Often on twitter, there is writing in orange color like the users @......
so i need to disable F.lux quickly to be able to use twitter optimally ideally, but f.lux keyboard shortcuts are not very practical and fast, can the f.lux team can add an option that allows us to choose the f.lux shortcuts ourselves, because I want to be able to click on a single keyboard key to be able to deactivate f.lux, and a single key to reactivate it. Thank you -
There is one reason, and only reason why they haven't done this: the vast majority of their users aren't computer-savvy, and giving them the ability to do this could result in them ignorantly choosing keys that conflict with other programs they use, and then they end up on this forum complaining or asking for help - or reporting that f.lux has a bug that needs to be fixed.
Really, I think Alt+End is plenty easy enough. Or, you can Ctrl+A to highlight the text so that you can read it. Or you can use your mouse to select the text so that you can read it.

@twocables Thank you for your clarification, i understand now, but i think that F.lux developers can get around the problem by putting this kind of sensitive setting in a specific section called "expert mode", or put a button called "reset f.lux to default settings" to avoid such problems and reset the shortcuts to the original state flux

I suggested that once, and their response is pretty much "no" for mostly the same reasons as before. Believe me, I want faaaaaaaaar more controls and settings than they have in this program, but I'm always shot down with very logical reasons. Logical though they may be, I still don't like those reasons. lol

@twocables I hope they will change their opinion because it's really essential, for example, I use microsoft word, and the spell checker of this software emphasizes the badly written words with orange color, that's why it becomes necessary to be able to deactivate F.lux quickly .....

Is Alt+End really hard to press on your keyboard? I have the very standard layout, so Alt+End is extremely easy.

@twocables Yes, but I used to use one-touch shortcut when I used another software similar to F.lux

Word (and web browsers as well) actually use standard red to mark unknown or misspelled words. In fact, f.lux makes red the brightest color on the monitor. I do understand though that when the background is strong yellow and underlines are red or look orange, contrast is heavily reduced. Even so, even on very extreme settings, (trying 1800K at the moment--very yellow) I can still very easily make out the red underlines in my web browse.
I suggest modifying your monitors saturation setting. This can cause colors to look much too strong. Along with that, check your contrast setting as it may be too high, causing some colors to be non-visible or overly bright, and not the correct look. Brightness usually only affects the monitors backlight brightness, so it's not of much concern regarding display accuracy.

but I do not know which button to press to change the contrasat of my laptop ! I only know the buttons that increase or decrease the brightness..... -
@azog-azog laptops don't usually have contrast, just brightness. Controlling color settings on a laptop can be more involved and maybe even require a screen calibrator. On desktop monitors you can change the color settings much easier.
