f.lux not launching on start up or when clicked on

Just installed f.lux because I recently started to feel pain due to eyestrain from staring at screens all day. The program opened when installed and I was able to set the color I wanted, but now I can no longer open the application in any way.

Are you saying that you're unable to open the f.lux window when you left-click its icon in the Notification Area?

If you're trying to access it through the start menu, try the tray icon instead.
Also, the newest beta (4.60) fixes this bug: https://justgetflux.com/flux-setup4.exe so you can access it through the start menu too.
