Frames stuck @60 when using the latest f.lux version
-
Hi!
could you please tell me what is the last version of v4 f.lux before the one with the FPS LOCK @60 ? i'm dying here; all my 3D Apps are stuck at 60 fps and the last version of f.lux is the culprit. I sent a message to f.lux's facebook page & got no replies... & please stop releasing the software with AUTO UPDATE ENABLED without any notification if you're going to do something like this QQ
EDIT: after a 20mn search i found out that the v4.43 doesn't have the fps lock issue
get it from here if u have this issue like me(please don't trust external link like this one look for it urself or go ahead :)) http://www.afterdawn.com/software/desktop/misc_desktop_tools/f_lux.cfm/v4_47

If I understand, you have a >60fps monitor and f.lux seems to interfere?
I do not know of any changes from 4.43 to 4.55 that would cause this.
-
no, I have a 60Hz monitor & i'm currently using f.lux v4.43 which is working fine but that v4.55 was limiting frames. i play with unlocked fps, usually getting around 150-200 fps but when f.lux(4.55) is running it's capped @60

you're killing this amazing piece of software...

You're linking to several threads talking about our 2013 version, so this isn't very helpful. We've specifically fixed those issues.
Trying to address your question:
Do you have any "disable by app" or "disable fullscreen" features enabled? This is all I remember changing between 4.43 and 4.55.
Also, if you have a 60fps monitor, can you explain exactly what you mean by f.lux limiting your framerate to 60fps? This doesn't make a lot of sense.

@herf alright, I'm terribly sorry; i'll do one more test and see if it's fixed...
