I uninstalled the program but I'm still getting error messages
I love using Flux on my home PC so I installed the program on my remote desktop at work. Right away I got an error message so uninstalled the program. When I uninstalled it said "there are other people logged onto this computer so the program may not be fully uninstalled". I rebooted my computer and looked to see if Flux was in my programs (it was not). Now every few minutes I am getting an error message that says
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
-not enough space for thread data"
Also the my mouse cursor is flickering very fast.
Any ideas as to how to go about fixing this issue? Thanks!!

Wow, that's a new one - it sounds like whatever EXE is there is getting run over and over again really fast.
I can't think of any reason f.lux itself would be doing that, which is the confusing part.
Do you think there is any software there (antivirus/etc.) that might be changing the EXE somehow?

You'll have to forgive me, I'm not the most computer savvy person so this theory is probably going to sound stupid but... I'm thinking it may have to do with the way I connect to our cloud/remote desktop at work. I log onto Windows from from the machine at my desk. Once Windows opens I log onto a remote desktop program that was set up by out IT company or system admin. This remote desktop contains the programs I use to do my job.
When I installed Flux I was logged on to this remote desktop. As I mentioned I immediately experienced an error message so I uninstalled the program. It said that uninstallation was successful but prior to seeing that message it also mentioned that "other users are logged onto this computer which may cause program to not fully uninstall". This confused me because I was under the impression that I was the only person capable of being logged onto my regular desktop or cloud/remote desktop.
I then called our IT folks about this error message and the rep asked me what computer I was logged into. I told him it was the one at my desk and gave him the ID number on the sticker on my desktop tower. The IT guy laughed and said I know that but what remote computer are you logged on to? I said I had no idea, I was under the impression that my computer was directly connected to "the cloud" via the remote desktop program. He explained that this was not the case and that my desktop computer was connected to another larger desktop computer that multiple employees were also connected to. Unfortunately he wasn't able to figure out which computer I was remotely connected to and said he'd have to get back to me next week.
So my theory is that I must have uninstalled flux from MY computer, but some remnants of the program must be stuck on this other larger computer. Is that even possible or am I just in way over my head?
