Brief Disabling/Flickering When Changing Orientation

Hello, I am running f.lux (4.55) on my surface book, and am noticing that whenever I change the orientation of my device, f.lux briefly cuts out. Is there any way to fix this?

lock your screen so the screen doesnt change when you flip it : D

It's not the flipping that is the issue. I would like to continue using my surface book (and rotating it) without the screen flicker.
