      Updated 12/2020:

The updated link to use for DisplayLink-branded adapters with f.lux is here:

      https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1886413-how-to-enable-night-light-or-f-lux-on-displaylink

Older information below, in case you are using an older driver.

      Updated Sep 18 2018:
There is a new 9.0 alpha release that fully supports the latest Windows 10 with f.lux:
      http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?d=192

If you are using Windows Anniversary edition, DisplayLink have made f.lux work with USB-connected monitors:

      http://www.displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?p=82958#post82958

Due to a bug in Windows, you will have to undo this change if you want to uninstall f.lux. (Your main display will continue working in any case).

Flux v4.21 seems to be working perfectly with DisplayLink's 8.1 &8.2 beta drivers. This using DLink on my AOC e1659FWUX

          This is also pre-Creator's update.

I have some Asus USB monitor that uses DisplayLink, Will have to test it out with flux If I can find where I've put my USB3 cables.

Hello! Does now work also screen dimming functionality with latest drivers? (ALT+PgDown on f.lux). I have now 8.2 driver provided automatically by Windows 10 and changing colors works fine with f.lux, but not screen dimming on lcd connected via displaylink. (Default night screen win10 functionality also doesn't work.) Thanks!

I followed all the steps from https://www.displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?p=82958#post82958
However, this is still an issue on my machine. I'm using Snagit for my screenshots.

Is there anything else we can recommend trying at this point?

Edit: I will add that this only started today, when I added a 3rd monitor.

@trunswick89 could the third monitor be using an older adapter? I don't know all the differences but I remember there are some.

@herf - I'm thinking this is my issue, I currently have my new monitors daisy chained and the older monitor required an older adapter.

For now, I had to disable f.lux (It's killing me) but I work on a lot of documentation for devs and I can't use orange screenshots haha.

                          Hello Herf,

Thanks for your answer. In my windows 10, I unfortunately do not have this directory in the registry. I have searched in all folders, I did not find any directory with this name.

Do you have an idea where to look to perform the procedure?

Thank you in advance for your and your answers.
