Brightness dimming in the app

Hi, I really like the option that the app has to dim the screen with Alt + PG up PG down combo. Sadly one of my devices (Windows tablet) doesn't really come with a keyboard so changing this becomes a struggle every time. I know that there is an option "Restore brightness" in the app to restore the brightness, but wouldn't it be possible for the app to have a slider for this function or arrow down/up keys so that the screen can be dimmed from the app?
