XP + Firefox 52.9 ... means location can't be entered

Also means no "captcha" so couldn't register to ask the forum about this from the desktop I just installed f.lux on (so am borrowing a laptop ...).
I see the note re the "poodle" bug. "this map page" link is also non-functional via the aforementioned desktop.
Is there some other way for me to specify my location?
Or, does it matter all that much? f.lux has my time zone as 1243. Its actually 1343. An hour underwater is one thing, but under the sun?
