How do I stop flux to stop changing colors arbitrary / Force always on mode / Force coupling day and night colors?

It always doing this and this is driving me nuts. I just want to set one color for all time, and I don't want for flux to change colors by arbitrary standards like location and time; I just need a constant blue light filter that doesn't try to think for me.
I tried to use "adjust day and night colors together" and it somewhat worked, but it's janky and I can't tinker with colors without breaking it.
Any workorounds?

@flux_onetimepost I am wondering, whether some old version of f.lux would work in such a manner that we are able to manually specify the screen colour without extra smarts from the software?
