Disabling for fullscreen not working correctly on Windows 11
-
Ever since upgrading to Windows 11, f.lux has stopped functioning correctly with the "Disable > for fullscreen apps" setting.
I use multiple monitors, and while in Windows 10 f.lux worked by disabling the effect for only the monitor where an app, such as a game or browser video player was fullscreen, in Windows 11, it disables the effect for all monitors.
Also, in Windows 10, the disabling of the effect happened instantaneously, but in Windows 11 there's a fade transition that takes multiple seconds.I previously assumed this was just a problem with Windows 11 itself, but recently I've noticed f.lux working "correctly" (like it used to in Windows 10 for me) on the users' machines running Windows 11. So, could there be some other programs influencing the behavior of f.lux? I'm also using ICC color profiles for my monitors (should be "proper" ones that f.lux can read, since they seem to work fine, and worked in Windows 10 too). I have tried disabling/resetting the color profiles, as well as reinstalling f.lux with both latest and older versions, and my Nvidia GPU drivers are up to date.
Below is the driver info from f.lux.
